| My driver side mirror seems to be possessed it keeps moving by itself and I always have to readjust none of the buttons seem to be stuck and I put the selector switch in the middle just to make sure anyone know how to fix this or preform an exorcism? | |

| Start with Holy Water. After it shorts out everything, Rewire it. | |

| I love these electrical problem threads. It makes one feel part of the larger badly grounded, short-circuited universe.
And it will only get better as these cars get older.

| Is the mechanism actually moving? Or is the glass simply loose? Push on the corners and see. | |

| Likely to be a short in the arm rest module. After 21 years they get a bit corroded.
I would take the door panel off and check for obvious issues. Might be a pinch in the harness as well. I would add my doubt to it actually being the mirror itself, but the control or harness between them.
It was probably too much much to expect Rev Bob to perform the exorcism on line. Oh Well.

On-Line exorcisms are pretty much restricted to Variable Effort Steering and Electronic HVAC. A possessed mirror usually just requires a firm command for the foul demon to "come out".
The problem is, these sly demons will just move into the closest PCM or Optispark.

| That would explain Opti-spark gremlins fairly well.
I hope we are helping Sherlock 128 with all this info.

Might not hurt to have a talented Rabbi as well.
