2017 Tenth Annual B & D Roundup!! Mark your calendar! Saturday October 14th

Our local New England B & D Club is having our "Roundup" Saturday October 14th. A lot of the same wagon guys that we see at the WF's will be there. Probably at least 10 to 12 wagon guys. Usually there are about 25 to 30 cars, wagons, boxies, Impala's, Caprice's and whatever else shows up.

We always have a good time and a great seafood meal. Anyone is welcome!

This will be the Tenth year our annual get together the Saturday after Columbus Day weekend, as always. It gives us a time to say hello to old friends and meet new friends before we have to put the cars to bed for the winter. All B & D cars are welcome and if you're "in between" and bring something else, that's OK. I remember the first year, I was hoping to have 5 cars, I think we ended up at 9. I was very happy. Now, we have somewhere between 28 to 30.

Sedans, Impala's, Wagons, boxies and Fleetwoods are all represented. Maybe Lynol will bring up the 1983 LT1 Lesabre wagoni.

Directions: exit 6W of the Spaulding Turnpike (NH16) in Dover, NH. At light turn left onto Boston harbor dr, and continue past Newick's, going down under the bridge as it swings left. There has been quite a bit of road construction the last couple of years, so there may be a right instead of a left someplace.

I think we all agree that the hanging out and BSing is the most enjoyable part. We will be spending a good part of the day there.

Just got news the B & D website is up and running again. I will be posting over there.

Coming up this Saturday! If you've got the time and the means to do so make an appearance!

Wish I was there to see all the folks again. I REALLY enjoyed meeting everyone in person last May. That was such a fun trip and an adventure I won't forget.

Let me give you a little push.........We go to a great seafood restaurant, Captain Newicks.  Overlooking the bay in Dover.  Plus you will see many of the same wagon guys and more.  I know you know the mountains of NH real good, but this will expand your knowledge seeing another part of the state.  Bring down old Dave with you.  I will PM my #, in case you need it.

Woo hoo! I'll be there. Had to finish 2 1/2" exhaust and removal of mechanical fan (done as of 8 PM). I'll PM Dave B. and try to twist his arm about making the trip.

I lived for 7 years in Durham, so I know and love the local attractions. Are we getting ice cream and guns at the KTP?

Are there sheep anywhere nearby?

If anyone wants a mechanical fan and shroud (free), I'll have it in the back of the wagon.

No sheep, moose instead. We get ice cream at Johnson's, not sure what KTP is.

Graduated in two terms (Carter and Regan) from UNH in Durham, and loved every minute of it.

Dave B. cannot make it, and is still dealing with mechanical issues on Shamoo. The sheep and possibly moose are safe.... for now.

I should have known that (slap to head). Youngest daughter went to engineering school at UNH, she loved it also.

google says 1,496 miles and about 22 hours..... Don't think I'll be able to make it as I have to work until 5 today lol.

I put it on my wish list for next year.

I'll put Sprocket and Andebe on the list for next year.

Excellent day: fine weather, fun folks, plenty of time for relaxed BS-ing, and great food. Kiddie cones at Johnson's Ice Cream afterwards took care of dinner and breakfast the next day.

Well, let's leave it that both are pretty nice. It's a bit like asking someone which of their children they love most.

The coincidence with peak foliage season in the White Mountains less than 2 hrs north added value for me, along with freakishly great weather.

No worries. I lived for 7 years in Durham, NH, about 4 miles up the road from Hilton Park, and then spent the last 32 years in Geneva, NY. I was fated to live near Wagonfests.
