| Hi guys, Are all 2wd 4l60e's interchangeable into 95 wagons? Since last night my RMW won't shift into 3rd or 4th Thanks | |

| No. The 96 is different. I believe the 94 can be used. Some from other cars have different tailshafts. The 94&5 are controlled by an OBD 1+ computer, and the 96 is controlled by an OBD 2 computer. | |

| What strikes me as odd is that this happened suddenly on a car with 82000 miles. Back in June I replaced a bricked PCM with one out of a 94. Could the non-pwm PCM have caused the failure? | |

| Doubt it. You didn't repgrogram the pcm or anything, just put a 94 pcm in a 95 car ? Was the TCC locking up (I assume it was not)?
I've had 2 trans fail under 100k km (one at 65k km and one in the 80s). Both were 2.56 cars. | |
