| Hey so I guess this is the place to discuss my car. Alittle background on the car. I picked it up in June 2016 and put 17000 on the tired 307 ( drank more oil than gas). As of now it has a 1970 olds 350 4bbl and a th350 trans with a 2500 hughes stall converter and a bigger cam and a true dual exhaust. It runs great and drives even better. It doesn't scream out of the hole but It's the highway where it shines, it taches up around 3100 rpms at 90mph and it pulls there from 55 in the blink of an eye. My question is does anybody have a list of rear end gears offered that year? I have no idea what mine are. Keep in mind this car no longer has an overdrive. I'm thinking around the area of 2:56s. Also does anybody know the availability on a rear sway bar for these cars? Thanks for your input. Marty. | |

| Welcome! Glad to have you here. I'm not sure about the sway bar, but you can still find axles in the salvage yards, at least here in Texas. I have a 96 Roady wagon but my son and I are slooowwlly fixing up a 78 Electra wagon with the Olds 403 and Turbo 350 3spd trans. I've not missed overdrive on it, other than for mileage, but don't know what rear is in it. Take a look in the Boxy section for more on your car. -Texas Mike | |

| Welcome!! If you can find the sticker with RPO codes, it's easy to google up. I doubt a 307 would have had 2.56 gears as it would take a year to accelerate. Probably something closer to 3.08 or maybe a 3.23.... if you know speed, rpm, and tire diameter you can figure it out via Google too. | |
