Its been a short but good run with my little red wagon, but I have too many vehicles and need to part with this one to make space. I wanted to post it here on the forum first before it goes on craigslist so I can feel better knowing that its going to a good home.
I'll try to keep this short and to the point.
1995 chevy caprice wagon
details
- Starting asking price is $4,500 OBO
-130 sumthin thousand miles
- original unmodified LT1
- tow package with brake controller (I installed it for towing a race car)
- gray cloth interior
The bad
- exhaust leak on driver side between cat and manifold
- all windows besides driver window need new sliders (8 dorman repair sliders included)
- AC works but has slow leak
- headliner starting to fall around edges
- hitch is seized in the receiver
- underside has surface rust but no rot and very little on body.
The good
- new KYB shocks all around
- entirely new Moog drag link steering system
- new rear variable rate springs
- rear helper airbags installed for heavier loads
- new front brakes
- Freshly powdercoated 9C1 wheels with fresh cooper cobra tires
- new radiator and hoses
- new oil cooler lines
- no fluid leaks
- AC works just has slow leak
- body is in very good condition, no visible rust on the exterior
- has a jasper transmission with updated valve body to firm up the shifts and save the clutches
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, if you have any other questions please ask and I'll answer them to the best of my ability. The car is currently in storage in Dekalb IL to keep it out of the winter salt but I am in Lockport IL so I would need a day or two to get it for viewing.
