| I am actively seeking a b wagon. where can I find option codes and id them? I searched "decode" and came up with nothing. What known problems should I watch for. Might get to see one today.
Thanks | |

| You need to look for "RPO codes" there is a sticker on the passenger D pillar next to the tail light. | |

| Thank you! Do you have a list of codes/options on this site? | |

| The list of options and their codes is in the FSM. It may be posted on impalassforum.com. I do not think it is posted on this site. There are some options that are not available on some models.
Some known issues are rust at the bottom of the B pillar, rust in/on the D pillars, gate glass hinges rusted out, leaks at the rear corners of the grab handles (roof or quarter glass leak), cracked interior door panels, broken or missing front arm rests, zink post at the underhood fuse block (94), broken window sliders, excessive slop at center of steering (steering box), broken wing window hinges, broken front windshield washer manifold ends, rust at rear quarter bottoms and spare well. Buying a southern or southwestern car tends to get a less rusty car (non rustbelt). We do not know where you are. Put your location in your signature.

| There's a general GM RPO code list i found on another forum, but I dunno if this one will allow links. http://www.longroof.info/pdf/rpo.pdfIf not, search "GM Master RPO Code List" and you'll get what looks like damn near all the RPO codes GM used. If you sign up for an account with Compnine, you can plug in your VIN and it'll give you it's options. Good luck! | |

| If you can get me the VIN to any GM car (1990+) I can decode it for you. That's part of my job as a parts guy at a GM dealership. |

| It's all built into the electronic parts catalog. Global Connect is kind of a joke. Get me the last 8 characters of any GM VIN from '90 up and I can do it. Unless the car/truck was left in an 'undelivered' status with GM. |

| I am driving out of state to my daughters wedding today. While there I made plans to look at a 96 wagon. I ran the report, but there are rpo codes for subsets of packages like z27, 1sa, 1sz, without more info. Is there a list of available codes, and or a break down of the code packages? I have searched but not found a concise description. If not is there an sales brochure posted on line anyplace?
Thanks

Thanks for the help. Here are the last 8 from the vin TR417707 Any info would be appreciated. I expect to see this car Thursday. I am also interested as I mentioned in another thread (my bad) I would like a breakdown on the "packages" if that exists. Thanks Tom
