95 Caprice Wagon For Sale, low mile, clean!

I've finally decided to list my 95 Caprice Wagon for sale. I just don't drive this car anymore, as work has me too busy. Its a BEAUTIFUL Car! Must be seen in person to appreciate how clean the body really is on this car.

Its a 95 Caprice Wagon with about 85,000 miles on it. Its a very very clean car, no rust, no body damage, the paint is VERY shiny. I'm sure this is one of the cleaner wagons around.

A few upgrades that come to mind... SLP Headers, New AC compressor, Bilstein Shocks, Airlift air bags and compressor, Class III hitch, Pypes X pipe, Dynomax VT mufflers, SS wheels, brand new tires, Cold Air Intake, Air Pump Delete, EGR Delete, PMC4Less Tune, fully sound deadened car, everything gutted to sound deaden it, Sealed Roof Rack, all new cooling system, radiator, hoses, water pump, starter, Crown Vic rear Sway bar, window tint, and I have a full set of red leather Sedan Limited seats to be put into the car. I know I'm forgetting a bunch of additions......

The only new addition to the car since that post is SLP shorty headers and a new AC compressor, dryer, etc.

I'm looking to get $8,500 from this car! I'm located in North East Wisconsin!

Does anyone here have any suggestions as to whats a good site to list this car on for sale? Hemmings, auto trader? facebook groups? I'm not worried if it costs to place the ad, but I'd just like a suggestion to where it would likely get a bunch of looks.

Hemmings is crap and AutoTrader is a waste of money for something this old. Very nice car. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks guys. I haven't kept up with all the forums and such in the last few years, so I figured some places were pointless to post it and some were still active!

I'm finishing up cleaning it up and getting more pics and then I'll get some better posts up. Its so clean, I've gotta show its underside and interior and such!

Do you guys really trust Ebay for a large purchase? Just curious, I know a lot of people that listed cars and then scammers bought them and never paid them and they had to relist the car and it was a major headache because of all the scammers. just curious..... I use Ebay often, but just not for large purchases or sales.

Sold dozens of cars on eBay with my old job. No release of vehicle until funds clear.

Any guess what the percentage is that they take on EBAY? Isn't it probably 10% or more after PayPal fees?

No. It's a flat listing fee. 10% of a car sale would be insane. I don't even make that when I sell one. haha

You may want to check the HP rating on your car. If it's like every other B Body, it's 260 HP not 300 HP.

Tune It, add headers, 2.5 inch exhaust, intake, and GM's intentional unrated HP, I think I'm safe with my figures. GM under rated them specifically for insurance purposes back in the day!

215hp plus 15% driveline loss comes to about 250 flywheel horsepower. 20 year old car? I'd say they were pretty accurate with their ratings.

Sorry guys, my internet at home is horrible and I have to close my browser often to get it to open anything.
I hadn't checked this post recently, as it had little response earlier. I ended up listing the wagon on Hemmings and it sold today. A guy in Florida is transporting it home in 2 weeks after the bank check clears! I got my asking price, so I'm happy with it!

It was! Nobody had the ballz to scale Ricks driveway to retrieve it! All I know is my duramax was spinning all 4 climbing his driveway and that was in a small snowstorm that was melting into snotty mud. Everyone else was scared! lol. By chance I had put brand new rubber on my truck right before I found the car!

I dumped my Aluminum Featherlite trailer at the top of his road and man-handled it and spun it around 180* by hand and then re-hooked up to back the trailer the rest of the way up to the shop it was sitting in! It wasn't for the faint of heart! lol.

I'm gonna miss this car for sure, but its going to a total car nut, so I'm pleased with that!
