| So while you folks were Wagonfesting up there in New York, I was Cars-and-Coffee-ing here in Texas. I normally go to the one in Killeen on the last Sunday of the month, but they were having a BMW theme day, so I decided to make the 50-mile run out into the Hill Country for the Dripping Springs C&C. I'd never been to this one, and it was not huge, but some REALLY nice cars showed up, including some wagons. I especially liked the 1956 Century Wagon, which was a LOADED car, with a/c, power windows, power seat, even a power antenna. Really sharp! The little Corvair Lakewood wagon was sharp too. And for the not-wagons, I got a kick out of seeing a nice Jensen Healey, a Holden Ute, a gorgeous 67 427 Corvette convertible, a Rambler American convertible, and an '89 Turbo Trans Am, among others. Some highlights below, and the full Public Facebook album link below. Enjoy the pics! -Texas Mike Full Album: https://www.facebook.com/mike.massey.543/media_set?set=a.10216759145681683.1073742366.1553678810&type=3

And the ute of course. He was asking $5600 for the Corvair wagon. Little steep, but it was in nice shape and sounded good! Fun Morning! -Mike | |
