| So new to me 70k wagon is showing its disdain to being parked outside.
Last week it ate the AC compressor. I also found out it leaks when it rains. Today I opened all the windows and let it dry out.
When I went back out a few hour later to close it up, the panel that bolts up under the steering wheel was on the for. WTF? The plastic under it where the screws go just broke off and was still screwed to the panel.
How can I glue aluminum flat bar to this brittle ass plastic?

| Mine was held on with silicone. I epoxied it in place. | |

| The plastic was probably broken a long time ago, and just happened to let the last bit go. I would consider using JB Weld. What color is the interior, in case somebody finds one? | |

| It' burgandy and it would have to be that big ass whole lower dash piece that every one is looking for.
I have a tan one in the wreck so that' worse case, thinking it'll be alot easier repairing the one in the car.

| Tape off the black parts, and use SEM paint on it. The dash is almost impossible to glue, because it is almost insoluble in any solvent. Only a mechanical attachment will hold. A mechanical attachment needs a "tooth" to make a reliable fix. | |
