Have to be very careful but I have removed them with a drill bit.

Can also swap the line with your crash car.

Put a wood screw in it, pull it out.

Holy crap, I posted that first one from my phone. I hate that thing.......I like Jay's idea of a wood screw I will try that first. If not, I have one from a 96 9C1 in the garage. I was just hoping to not have to remove more stuff..... Spent 5.5 hours on it yesterday and have it all apart. Then had to go to a 50 yo Birthday party last night 80 miles away and got home at 2AM and then was up at 6:30 and crewed on a sailboat in a race today. Just got home and cleaned the pool and sat in it for half an hour. I'm pooped!

Drill bit works the same as the screw. Twist the thing all up and pull it right out.

A tip for the future. There is an actual tool for removing an Orifice Tube that keeps this from happening.

Heating gently with a propane torch always works for me, be careful
With anything sharp, line is super easy to puncture

Well I got it out the other day. Pulled the whole thing out of the car. Used a 4 in deck screw and had to slooooowly work it out with pliers.

Reason it was so stubborn was it was Completely clogged. So bad I threw the whole condenser in the trash and grabbed the one I pulled out of the 96 cop car. That orrice tube came out quick and was clean so in it went. Still have a little more work but should vac it down tomorrow eve.
