Parting the Departed - Jade Empty
PostSubject: Parting the Departed - Jade   Parting the Departed - Jade Icon_minitimeWed Oct 02, 2019 8:17 pm

I know I should probably put in the FS section and will move it when I actually start pulling parts off, but want to lay it out there for the family, if there is something you need/want.

So pretty much everyone on here knows my t56 swapped wagon got totaled out by a stupid girl not paying attention.
I will be finally settling with the insurance company in the next couple days, and as soon as I do, out come the saws.

I'm in South FL and the engine only has 92K on it. I'd keep it, but just bought another one with only 70K, so that's the big ticket item I will need to sell. We went through the whole thing and it runs great.

I don't have the time and energy to swap everything else over, so I'll probably also sell the 9C1 rear with everything new inside except the 4.10 gears and posi, every other O ring and bearing was replaced along with new brakes. I'm on the fence about the whole T-56 set up, as I dumped 2k into a rebuild about 1000 miles before it got wrecked. I don't think anyone will ante up the 4K I have in the complete soup to nuts set up with all the swap parts needed, so probably save it for when the Auto tranny goes on the other one.

Also Front and back Tan Bonnies in cloth in good driver condition. They match the Caprice tan perfectly. Unusual 60/40 Bench for Bonnies. Upper and lower dash are both in great shape....

If you are interested in any of it, PM me, I don't have room to store alot of it, especially the motor.

My interest lies in the interior parts since we are a perfect match.

That said, I like that good running, low mile engine. Why I let the one I had go I will never figure out.

Edit. I eliminate the burden of packing/shipping Wink

Talk to me my boy! Seriously, Tim got the engine running right. I'm so fed up with the other one, I"d almost think it'd be easier to swap it in....

Woo Hoo! Finally 11 months later I got a check in my hand and it's cashed already.
My goal is to have this thing apart and out of my life before the end of the year.

Going to start with the interior first. So pissed I'm going to miss the FL INC picnic in 2 weeks (have to work) as I had plans to bring a ton of stuff to sell. Will have to wait.
