Gave out the Longroof address to several different folks this weekend so hopefully we'll see some new WagonFest faces soon!

I'm about to leave the Microtel now, I'll post my pics when I get home. If everyone goes on Youtube, I uploaded a video walking by all of the cars. Just search for wagonfest 2010.

great time,. was at the truck stop noticed a guy with a 62 ford starliner with the timing a bit retarded,. backfired quite a bit,.
he tried to clean it out,.
nearly fried a minivan,. (no loss really)
supper at the truck stop where the friday nite car show happens,.
37,000 mi 95 black with red guts,. begging for flames (and an axe?)
scoob and kevin trying to convince Mike to add the t56 to the mab car,.sprocket and his boy looking into the engine bay, brian (kevins brother hands on hips,, Ian ( A1awind,.alot of wind?) showing his best(noisy) side with hands in pockets,.
Due to a technical glitch with communication on insurance renewal, I ended up dragging the ogrotmrr out of the weeds added a battery changed its oil added more vital fluids to rad and trans , wired the rad cradle up so the rad wouldn't drag on the ground,.and set off from the house at 4am fri,. and arrived at 8 30am in time for brekky,. got the call that the ins had been reinstated on the flamed car at about 10 am fri,. (grrrrr) so i made sure to keep Old gold run of the mill rusty roadie away from the nice cars,.

Bewbs the ever consistent flamer had to flame something,.
weather was great no too hot,. nice breeze off the lake ,. the fresh air certainly had plenty of character tho,. vaguely remeniscent of a septic tank (peeeyuu!!) all the warm weather has made the algea pretty abundant,.
Chris adding the rest of the steering wheel parts to his car so he could clinch this years peoples choice award,.
Imitation being the highest form of flattery,. Pat was 'flattered'? by this wagon, Blower on your wagon?
Mike and joel setting up,. these two guys put a LOT of effort into wagonfest so all could have a great time,. thanks guys,.
had fun all weekend,. new faces, old faces, old friends, made some new friends,. (couple of haters too,. but fuck 'em,.)

Just couldnt pass it up cause its a rare thing when Nick makes a Boo Boo.That flamethrower was a 1961 Galaxie not a 62 Starliner.Thats OK Nick cause at age 100 you are still pretty sharp. Hope Everyone Had A Great Time! Jim aka Flasheroo

Meh,. its a ford,. all i did was read the badges,.and talk to the guy,..must be the ford equivalent of our SS impala wagons .. I,d say you're right about the year anyway,.but Run a "google images", on 61 galaxie starliner,.seems starliner was a galaxie model, like galaxie 500,.

I thinks I might be wrong Nick because the Starliner was a special design and both the 61 and 62 look alike. Well hell at least he didnt burn the car up.The greenies would have shit themselves if thet had seen all those unburned hydrocarbons! That is by far the biggest and tallest flames that I have ever seen shot out the pipes. Please Nick more PICS! "KITT" working his magic JaySS's sedan with t84's and ROH wheels,.
Jason (jaySS) on the right doing the indian appraisal pose, and his really shiny black sedan, after Roberts detailing,.
awards and auction in the pavillion,
later in the day, cooking supper, Crovo (toomanysoldcars) trying for drive in service,.
End of the day doing the unglamorous behind the scenes labour, ...taking out all the garbage and empties,. there was a lot of effort put in by volunteers to make this a great event,.
er,. not me tho,..i only provided comedic? entertainment,. I left for home later than i planned, i was forced to sample some fruit juice concotions from bewbz and jaySS, and was drinking with a drink in each hand!,. which led to more laughter and more talking, and caused me to have to have a power nap on the way home, arriving at 530am today, (sunday) in time to have a discussion with the wife about the lack of insurance in time on the flamed car,.while the kids were still snoozing,. The ogrotmrr scooted home with no fuss, to take her place back in the weeds till she's needed again,.

Cool pics guys! Heres my few.
Me and Lynol at the Middle Town NY mcdonalds
Gassing up on the way out of Syracuse to WF
Rolled over to 197k!
Love this bright red Caprice
WF dash plaque
Hmm, that looks like all I took at the fest. I think Lynol grabbed a bunch, I'll see if I can get those. On the way back today one of my "square wheels" on the Caprice gave up on me. The car had been shaking badly for the last 250+ miles of my trip. I knew it was imminent when the whole car started vibrating like I was driving on the shoulder.
I had a great time as always, and hope to see everyone next year!

Wow what great pictures everyone!
THANK YOUS: When Fred asked me a few months ago to make sure WF10 happened, I knew the only way it would happen was with the dedication and commitment of the numerous folks who helped out here and there. I tried to organize ahead of time as best as I could but willing volunteers on the day of the show really put the icing on the cake. I'm sure I'll forget someone, and if I do, I apologize! In no particular order: BigBlackBeaSSt aka Tim for lending his vocal chords to the chance auction and the cruise. Lakeffect aka Dave B. for the PA system and helping figure out the cruise route ahead of time. Angela L, Jess & Mike, Adria, Diane M for doing registration. DBeaSSt for running the chance auction. Phantom309 aka Nick for handling the alcohol permit at the park, helping put up signs in the morning, and cleanup in the evening. Silverfox103 aka Tom and Diane for phographing each car and doing the group photo. Also, Yacht Driver aka Doug T, RYS aka Tim G. for additional photos. Mike (Scoob8000) & Jess for letting me drive their wagon to lead the cruise after I realized I didn't have enough gas to complete the cruise! ruphraxe aka Fred L for paying to rent the pavillion even though he wasn't going to be there! 200OZ aka Mike L. and his wife Michelle for lunch, dinner, cleanup, signs, and the sweet tools at the chance auction.
This couldn't have happened without the help. Thanks everyone!

I'm drooling over all these pics. Want to be there so bad next year...or wish we could have one in the central US/south somewhere!!
In one of the above pics there is a dark blue 94 RMW with chromed trim around the wood, Impala wheels, GS grill emblem, flat hood emblem, no license plate, and it has a building/garage behind it with overhead doors, one open. It's sitting between two headges.
Who's car is that? I just love it!
