the tachometer is not working properly. The indicators shown by the tachometer are almost twice as large as the actual ones. What could be the problem? Caprice 9C1 1991

The circuit board on the back probably has a bad part on it. You can send it out for rebuild, or get a donor, and swap it.

which element can fail you will not prompt? whether there is a diagram of such a dashboard. i can't find any circuit with tachometer from 9c1

Any of the electronic components can fail. I can not troubleshoot through the computer. I do not know of any schematics for the cluster.
