| Greetings all-
Picked up a set if limited headrests and installed them in my non-limited Roady as I wanted the tilting feature. Turns out they also adjust in and out (forward and rearward) too as one is all the way in the forward position. I tried pushing it back but it won't budge and I do not want to force further and break any adjuster. I played with them a while and cannot figure out the trick to getting these to push back and forth correctly?
Anyone have these that can enlighten me? | |

| There is no trick, you just grab the top of the headrest and tilt it back. They should move pretty easily. If not, then something is likely jammed, broken or rusted in place. Never dealt with a pair that did not move easily. | |

| Lynol thanks. It's not the tilting but the projection in and out. One appears all the way out and cannot get it pushed back rearward. | |

| Huh? They go up and down like a regular headrest, and tilt forward and back making the top of the headrest go closer or farther from the occupant's head. They don't have any other [normal] function of movement. I've used several. If one of your headrests is farther forward entirely, then it's been bent. | |

| Howdy all. I found that the LIMITED headrests are "6-way" headrests. They actualy do move in and out in addition to up/down and tilting. There are 3 postions that there is an indent for when pulling them forward. I found that since most folks do not know about this feature, the movement forward and backward is really stiff as they have never been moved!
Pretty cool feature. | |

| I went out and tried this and could not get the headrests on my 96 to pull forward no matter how hard I tried. However, the 94 limited seats I have in my Caprice did pull forward. Has anyone gotten the later ones to move like this or is this an earlier limited thing? | |

| Its an earlier Limited thing (see the thread on Pat's new Roadmaster). Those are the seats with the really fancy headrests! Very cool! | |
