| Thanks for posting those pix! First time I parked mine next to other nice , but of lesser charisma wagons. Hope to do it there again, but how about when it's about 15 degrees cooler! I'd like to organize an event that will allow ( legally), our boats the opportunity to run 'em all out down the 1/4 mile at Atco Raceway. No grudge matches ( as mine is stock and ones that are "souped up" will kick my wagon's tail ), just a run what ya brung big wagon night at the track.Late September-early to mid Oct. is a good time of year. Any takers ? | |

| We could do Cecil MD as well. Might be a more "neutral" location. Mine is slow to Steve.... after all it is NOT a hot rod.. | |

I've raced at Atco since 1977. Mostly bikes back then. I've never raced at Cecil but recently have wanted to, especially with my current street motorcycle. I see no reason not to trailer the bike down and race both vehicles in one night! I believe it's about 70-75 miles away from my location. Pencil me in for Cecil next month or so. I did determine my wagon is rather sensitive to how hot the engine is as far as performance. If not cooled down at least 30-45 minutes between rounds, it can lose up to a full half a second in e.t. Since it's my do everything 4 wheeled vehicle right now, and as with most people $ is very tight, I must put my thoughts of headers, cold air intake, high flow exhaust, 3:73 gears and a chip on the back burner I gotta make do with an all stock engine, stock intake, and 2:93 gears. I do have some slightly better sounding "Thrush" mufflers installed, but they are just for sound quality. Would be nice to go up against some pre LT1 wagons or other non horsepower enhanced wagons or even stock B body SS Impalas. I believe stock SS Impalas from '94-'96 were runing in the 15.6 second range. My wagon is approx 300-500 pounds heavier than the SS and geared a tiny be taller I believe. Really is best not to drag race the boats until the temps cool down to no more than mid 70s for a high, low 60s even better.

| I did it to mine for less weight and sleeker looks. Not many actually carry items on the roof I would imagine. | |

| Put use a Thule rack with mounts to the factory rails when I need it. I need to save all the gas I can!!!!
I think she looks cleaner like that.

| I shaved it all off on my caprice. I was just curious about the Roadies since I am a Newbie buick owner. They do kind of stick up higher than a Chev don't they? Nice pics, now lets see some interior pics of those 3 hod rods | |

| i would love to have my roof rack removed like yours. did you use steel or fiberglass to fill yours in. i have a safari van and the roof strips in the center of the roof were stick ons i wish they did that on my caprice it would be alot easier to remove. her are shots of my interior that is one of console i will have to get pics of the rest of int. | |

| Nice console. I remember the thread on it now. That fits better than the factory SS one.
My fillers are fibreglass. Came from street trends, two way tape holds them on.
I could reinstall my roofrack tomorrow. Everyone thinks my roof is all body fill.
Only where the holes are filled for the ribs.
The best part is when I read about the water filled quarters,I have never had any.
