PostSubject: 18 " Tires    18 " Tires Icon_minitimeSat Jul 17, 2021 1:40 pm

So my wife got a new SUV with 235 /50 / 18 tires which she replaced with a set of Vredesteins which she had on her other car and loves . So now I have a set of nearly new 18" tires which I'm thing about putting on the wagon ,I'm looking at 18x8 black Torq Thrust style wheels , or a Salt Flat style any issues with running these ?

Make sure you get a +6 mm offset. I do not know who makes the rims in that size/style.

While +6 is the optimal offset, 0 won't make the car catch on fire or anything.

If the tires are stock width, it should not make a major difference. The +6 mm offset will align the wheel/tire with the original specs for the ball joints, and steering linkage.
