17” steel bolt ons.

Does anybody know of a set of 17” steel wheels that will bolt on to our rides? I want to get some snow tires and plan on upgrading rear end to discs in the near future and don’t want to buy two sets of snow tires. Thanks.

Stock 15" wheels fit fine over stock SS/9C1 rear discs.

I was looking at a C-5 upgrade kit that requires 17” or bigger.

Detroit Steel makes them. Be ready with your wallet, though. Much less expensive to use an aftermarket 17" (or 20") aluminum wheel.

There might be some older commercial light trucks in 17" but not really likely because of the bolt pattern and offset.

Find a set of clapped out impala rims. if they are pitted and rashed you should be able to get them fairly cheaply. I just sold a set of 4 in decent shape with good rubber and caps for $375 and it took me a year to find a buyer. I've bought them as cheap as $30 a wheel before bare.
