Need a part # for the steering stabilizer on my 94 RMW

Trying to find a replacement steering stabilizer on my wagon and came up with 2 part numbers GM 88946549 and AC Delco 509608 . My local Napa guy cannot find a listing for this part and we searched for awhile with no success he suggested I remove the old one and we can try and find a replacement . Anybody have another part # Thanks in advance !

I don't have a direct answer to your question, however I'd recommend removing the stabilizer for a few tanks of fuel and see if you notice any difference.

If not, then the part number is probably not needed

I actually prefer my RMW by a lot without the stabilizer which makes finding center much harder and dampens all feel.

Steering improvements

I've read pros and cons about the stabilizer and my thought is GM put these on the car for a reason,it's not that expensive so for me why not replace it .
