Guys what is the consensus as to which fuel gauge sender is the most accurate AC Delco or Dorman? TIA

from my experience (4 different sending units in one car) if it is a newly manufactured unit it won't be accurate no matter who made it, you might be better trying to just clean up the existing sensor which from my understanding can actually be done with a pencil eraser, but you would have to be gentle with the thin wires.

None of them are accurate. The original wasn’t even that accurate thanks to the terrible design of the fuel tanks.

my original was actually spot on while all the replacements where about a 1/4 of a tank off

When my presumed original sender reads empty, the tank only takes about 15 gallons. I think of it as an unknown size reserve tank.
