Wiper Arms not working

unsure of where to post cause i don’t know if it’s an electrical issue or the wiper arms just giving out..?

after the midwest winter storm a couple weekends ago my wiper arms for my front windshield have been wonky (driver side only working sometimes, passenger side just twitches in its spot)

i know the gears moving them work cause i can see the nut twist on cue but the arms just don’t follow suit. is it time to replace them completely or is there something i can do before replacing them to troubleshoot?

Pull the cowl off and inspect the linkage connections.

They're a steel ball on a plastic/rubber socket and the sockets can sometimes break down and then fall out.

Assuming you've a 90's b body wagon?
