Fixing gear selector so rear hatch release works

To get the rear hatch switch on the dash, the remote or push button to work to release the window hatch I need to push up on the gear selector.

Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix that problem?

The neutral interlock switch at the bottom of the column is out of adjustment
