Ok its that time. I need to reserve the playground slabs. Each slab holds 4 and they are $30 each this year so 7.50 per car (if we get all 16). That's over and above the entry fee of $50 for the weekend.
March 22-24, 2024 Daytona International speedway.
I'm starting a list with the usual suspects. copy & Paste and add your name to the bottom

I'll be there with my 91 OCC survivor. I'll have some parts, some beer and will invite my local car club members to stop by. Count me in for Saturday night dinner also. THX

A bit to far of a drive for me for just a weekend even though I'd love to run Daytona. Question for me is, are there going to be tee-shirts available for purchase.

Yes it's a bit of a drive. For me it's two trips, one to my daughters for a couple days with the grands, then Daytona on the way home. As for "love to run Daytona", think more like crawl Daytona. Did that last year, plan to do it again this year, but the high banks were blocked, and I doubt I hit more than 5 MPH on the flat. Think hundreds of cars single file. Still impressive to check out the track up close, the banks look much steeper in person from the flat. And I did buy the photo.
I did not see any wagonfest t-shirts last year, but there were plenty of other t-shirts to be had.

No T Shirts at this fest. It is more of a hang out with everyone at a car show near the beach type of thing. The long haul folks like Isurf normally make a longer vacation out of it and see the sights before or after that weekend.
Would like to make the NY trip one day but it's more than an hour and change from my house.
I am moving from the no f&*^**g way column to the maybe column. Parts have started to come in and they have renewed my interest in working on the car.

Back to the maybe side for me. Still dealing with nerve issues and walking/standing on a half numb foot sucks. Play my wife is dealing with some medical issues as well. Some of the problems the human body can have are quite peculiar indeed.

I decided to run with just a crank sensor for now. No more backfires. I will be at Daytona for the spring car show for sure with the Starship and working warp drive.

Well Number 7 and 15 are probably nots, he said he was all in, then backed off and haven't heard from him. with Billy a possible no show, looks more like 12 folks, so will have to ask $10 each to cover the slab cost ($120). This is part of the reason I haven't collected $$ ahead of time as it's always a moving target. Trust me, I am not making any profit here lol.
