Dear Mr., mctank. Good day Sir. When you refer to the underhood auxiliary battery post. Are you referring to the to the red box that is position on the right inter fender? The 93 RMW has this but the 94 - 96 RMW do not. The radiator reservoir takes up that position in those year vehicles. The vehicle that I am parting out is a 96 RMW so no auxiliary battery post.

I don't know about the 93's but the 94 to 96's do have auxiliary battery posts. I have a 96 and two 94's, all have the auxiliary battery posts. There seems to be two different types of fuse boxes / auxiliary battery posts: on one 94 and the 96 the fuses and aux post are all in one box. The other 94 has the box for the fuses and attached to that box is the aux post which has a cover and enclosure. I'm guessing that's what mctank is looking for and you have the other type.
mctank post a picture of your setup.

Dear Tom and Mr. mctank. Good day gentlemen. Just went out and checked out my 96 and 94 RMW's and sure enough they both have aux batt. post. I just never paid any attention to it. Tom, thankx for the insight. The cap has an + pos. on it. At 80 yrs. I like learning new things. Mr. mctank if the one that you are getting from Matt's Auto does not work out? I have the one off the 96 RMW. Does it detach from the fuse box it's mounted on? I did not look that close. Once again, thankx for the knowledge. Cheers.

Good day one and all.... Question???? What is the idea of the auxiliary batt. post (POS. +) being located where it is and what is it purpose. The one in my 96 RMW is attached to the outside of the fuse box which is located on the back side of the right inter fender.... Thankx

Hi White Bird
Probably not enough room for all that needs to be fused and relays etc. There's no room in the panel on the end of the dash, so they had to find another location. If they thought about it, they probably could have come up with a better solution.

Aux post supplies voltage to the fuses/relays in that little black box. Just how vehicles are these days. Fuses inside, fuses under hood among other places. The more electronic stuff the more fuses/relays needed. I’ve added two to mine for the stereo/Air ride/headlight harness. Build all my own stuff so no need for innovative wiring.

A body shop out here needs some of the door (and maybe more) exterior trim pieces for a customer with a '94, '95 or '96. Call Abe Moreno at (949) 214-5281. Referred by Jeff Shadow. Abe has repaired and repainted four of my vehicles so far: 1997 Cougar 30th Anniversary, 2003 Alero GLS Coupe, 2007 Buick Terraza and 2002 Final 500 Oldsmobile Intrigue. I removed a LOT of wiring from a 1991 Roadmaster wagon at a PYP to upgrade my 1991 Custom Cruiser to factory remote locks. I have the receiver and much of the wiring but did not know about the wire going to the steering column and could not remove the wires going to the firewall. I think 1991 models are different from later ones. Would you have the rear seat release lever plastic cover?

Dear Mr. 92 Roadmaster. Good day Sir.
This is what I have. As you can see the rubber molding is still on the rear quarter panel trim. I am going to leave it on and let the new owner remove it. The quarter panel trim is 72 inches in length (183 CM) and 6 inches wide (16 CM) I have priced the shipping cost in the past. Shipped by the USPS is approx. $75 - $80. This is because of the length. A well-known member on this site shipped one of these and it got bent to the 45-degree angle. He got the insurance on it but! was out the shipping cost $70.00 + USD. If I were to ship this? it would be either in a PVC pipe and or a cement tube. Also, how are you doing on the attachment clips? When you could still purchase them thru GM they were $30.00 USD a piece. Talk about gouging. Your best bet, see if you can locate this stuff closer to home. I do not mind putting this together, I am just trying to help. Just let me know and we'll come up with a total cost. Cheers
