1. Get two sets of Optilux 2500's or a similar type of lamps.
2. They come with wiring harness. I clipped off the connector that goes on the back of the stock headlight, and used the low beam wire to trigger one set, and the high beam wire to trigger the other. Rocket science, eh? Well the real b!tch is tyring to get a harness that was meant for a fog light to work on headlight. That took a bunch of help from the forum:

3. Once you get your wiring sorted, you can move on to the mounting.
As shown here, I removed the entire lens/reflector assembly from the black plastic frame, and bolted the lights base to the frame. You may need to cut a bit of the frame behind them, but be careful, if you cut too much of the frame your headlights will go BOING every time you hit a bump.
4. Be sure to slot the holes a bit so that you can adjust them side to side a bit. I went to Home Depot and picked up a bunch of bolts and washers to hold them in place. I used Loctite to keep them from loosening up @ an inopportune moment.
5. The clear lenses are bolted to the top of the light frame.
That's what I said last year. THis year I'm PISSED because Hella just introduced al low buck projector set that cost LESS than the optilux 2500!
DAMN YOU HELLARoll down to the bottom of the page and see why I won't be able to sleep tonight.
