| I found this in a local auction listing, the pic isn't the greatest....I'm 99% sure that's a caprice grill bolted to it, but does anyone know what kind of hood this is? Thanx | |

I haven't scored yet...the auction is in the morning. If it's nice enough, I will be bidding I was thinking it may be a suncoast, but wasn't sure. I don't know what I'll do with it though, but feel as if I must have it....

| I went to the suncoast website, and it definitely is one. Whats even better, they sell the raiss kit to make it a functional ram air. Whats even 'mo better, I already have raiss on my wagon. I'm heading that way in about 2 hours...IT'S ON! | |

| FYI you have to cut the top of the raiss box to fit the suncoast hood. They provided a template for me. | |

| Could you describe how you had to cut the raiss box please? I did get it, despite the fact it needs a bit of fiberglass work. I didn't think that was a big deal since it's gonna need paint anyways. And yes, I probably did pay too much for it, but it's not very often I see something like this pop up for sale locally. | |

| a little over an inch comes off the top and then tapers down. I got the template from Suncoast when I bought a hood from them. | |

I probably could have got it for $5. The auction was going so slowly. I had been there 3 hours, and it was probably another 2 away and I had to go. I pulled the owner to the side and asked him about a straight sale, as time was an issue for me. He knew if not for that he'd have to give it away, and honestly I felt bad for the guy. I had already bought two full sets of beauty rings and a full set of crown vic hub caps for $6. | |
