| I found a pretty good deal on a set of clean, white, wood free 1995 doors. If I get them I figure i'd just buy all four. If I get all four he'll also throw in the tailgate for $25. Anyways, is it possible to get all of this into the back of my wagon? I wouldn't have another way to get them home. | |

Sweet. Any specifics on loading them in? I dont want to end up scratching and denting these things before I even get them on the car...

| Justin, bring blankets or cardboard to protect against scratching etc., if you end of stacking.

| Blankets (moving pads) are a necessity but will fit well. Maybe Chris will post some pics too. Put your doors in a side at a time. As in, both left or both right just as they would be oriented on the car. Then turn the other doors around. So if the first set of doors are set so the top of the door is on the left, put the second set so they are to the right. Pads between and set them down gently. Remove front passenger seat for easy storage of a tailgate. You'll have lots of space left over for stuff too. | |

They're from a '95 Wagon. Thanks, glad I did too. The deal was too good to pass up as long as the pictures are a fair representation. I'll hopefully be going up next weekend. Its about a 2 hour trek.

| Do they fit in a wagon? Uhh, the factory actually made door and tailgate sized openings for just that very thing! Just take your doors and gate off before you drive over there. No stacking necessary! | |

| Great score. Wish the parts I used would have been white. Sure would make getting the car painted a lot easier. | |

| You'd like Jacksonville - gets warm on some days but mostly pretty decent, and gets cold in the winter occasionally but no snow. Like 30s and 40s cold. |

| As for weather....I spent three years in Denver and SEVEN years in New Jersey. I love Love LOVE Austin! It's STUPID hot for 3 1/2 to 4 months...you live in A/C, in the lake or tubing on the river, and then you get 8 months of awesome weather. We do get "blue northers" 3-4 times a winter. The temps will go from the 70's to the 40's in two hours, it's crazy. And it does "snow" once of maybe twice a winter...the entire town shuts down, but not before everyone buys out the grocery stores. The next day it's in the 70's again. Here's some pics from last year's "winter storm".....hehehe. Was nice having the day off..... | |

| If one flake falls, everything closes. People here barely drive in rain. ; )
After living in Denver and Jersey, it's pretty funny.
We get maybe 1-2 days like that a winter. It had been in the 70's the day before those last pics, so the roads were way to warm for it to stick, and it was back in the 60's the next day.
We take what we can get and USE those "snow days" whenever possible!

| I was stationed at Fort hood, Tx back in '92-'95 and we had 1/4 inch of snow fall over night. On my way in to work I counted 44 cars in the ditch in a 6 mile stretch! I got to work and called my boss wondering where everyone was at, only to be told that the roads were "black" (impassible except for emergency vehicles)!! I told him GREAT! I'm going home........was instructed that "black" means you stay where you are! I spent my day off in the office all by my self.... | |

For some reason, it seems that Killeen is the driest and hottest place in the US. I have NOTHING but repect for the folks stationed there. If you made it out, you are one tough dude!

| Been there, done that. Good work!
Thankfully on my 89 Olds wagon I just had to paint the bumper fillers, tail light trim, and around the gas tank lid. The door handles were above the wood on that car.
Takes a lot of patience and elbow grease. Looking good!

You'll have lots of space left over for stuff too. Yes, they fit. I don't have a pic though (I was shunning the camera at that point) Taking the passenger seat out and putting the tailgate in its place is a good idea if you want to avoid any extra weight on those doors/glass (or avoid messing up your back windows or headliner) I have to run them up to Louisville at some point...so I will load them up again (and snap some pics) lol
