| Just pulled in to Ft. Lauderdale. 2,593 km in the Caprice wagon. Drove beautifully with no issues. Kept it between 74 and 79mph the whole way. Mileage ranged from 20 to 23.5, and I will have the exact average tomorrow when I dig the receipts out of the car. Only saw one AGW Roadie and one white Cap wagon the whole trip. They are starting to get scarce... | |

| Gas is expensive where I'm at right now.... I paid $3.05 today, I was furious.
In Jacksonville, I paid $2.86 to fill up and drive home. |

| Glad you had a safe trip. If you can snap some good Florida wagon pics!
Just to share gas prices, I paid $2.67 in Austin on Friday and it was $2.83 in Dallas.
I hate how they creep the prices up at the holidays. Nothing but greed.

| I think the highest gas was 3.19 in S.NY. I got a ten cent discount cause I bought a car wash, though! Can't road trip in a salty car. Lowest was 2.73 someplace in Georgia.
Bill, I will keep my eyes open. However, most of the third gens I see here are at the U Pull It!
Nick, I still say you would be the best thing to ever happen to Ice Road Truckers. TV gold, for sure.

| Jay I have to disagree because the beautiful Lisa is the best thing to happen to IRT by far.Even though she still cant downshift worth a darn.Besides they already have a grumpy old fart on the show, the polar bear although I think he is finished on the show. I watched the India version this summer and fall and thats a true third world country at best. What scares me is that they have nuclear weapons but no real interstate road system or even a functioning sewage system.Thats a country that I will never visit even for free. My 2 Cents Jim Gordon |
