| My 79 Buick and my old 95 Park Ave Ultra both have/had 4-note "tugboat" horns from the factory. My Roadmaster wagon is only a 2-note, same as the old '86 Caprice. I just learned the Roadmaster sedans use the 4-note horns. Anyone installed those on a wagon? I've not even looked to see where mine are mounted....just curious.
If I'm going to have a car this big I need a horn blast to match! ; )

| Roady Sedan and Fleetwood had the four note horns. Two mount where yours are, left fender, the other two mount on the other side, same location. Grab the horns from a boneyard car and to make life easier, grab the horn harness too. Someone on here has done it. I hope to this spring, I have the parts. | |

| I did it last spring when I swapped my fenders, thanks to Chris for alerting me to the difference.
The right side fenders already have the mounting points in them. I just grabbed the four horns and harness from a Buick (RM) Sedan. Bolt on the horns and wire in the harness and viola. Sounds like a boat and lead to me calling my wagon "The Barge" lol.
The "harness" I removed was really just a single wire with a split connection on one end for the two horns. I just spliced into my current horn wire and it works great.
Wagon is currently under a cover in the driveway or else I would post some pics.

| Do you have to change all four horns, or can I just add the wire and the two on the other fender?
Sorry for being such a tightwad. ; )

| I added the two and used the "harness" to jumper them in. No problems.............. | |

| Had to use the horn in the hearse once on the highway. That cleared some traffic | |

| *Bump*
A friend traded me a set of these horns so I can do the mod. However, it didn't include the bolts to install them. Do I *need* them or will a bolt from Ace work?

| Don't see why a regular bolt wouldn't work. |

| You can only use the bolt that was designed to those horns. Since you don't have one, I suggest you box them up and ship them directly to me. I am an alchemest and will create the magical bolt and install them in my car. | |

I'll put them in the same box as your door pulls. Which are going out tomorrow for real this time with a bonus gift

| I was able to attach Gary's headlight relay set to the fender underneath the rear horn. It all fits, but it's really tight. | |

| Is that a 2 or 4 relay harness? Looks like a 2 relay or at least different from my 4 relay harness. | |

| I have the two relay harness. It's also an older harness that I bought used. Gary may have redesigned the relay package. | |
