| First off, my son and his girl are just fine. Moving at about 20 mph hit a slippery spot on a corner. Steered away from the creek to hit the bridge. Double air bag deployment. Of course the passenger airbag took out the windshield. Any one need any Monte Carlo parts. My son needs the money to buy a new car. This one is off to the junk yard!! | |

| I'm glad they weren't hurt. I believe airbags can cause more injuries than the actual collision in some cases.

| Glad they are in good shape.
My friend got in her Kia SPortage one morning, turned the key and the drivers bag deployed in her face. Broke her nose, and some glass cuts from windshield pieces but other wise okay. looked like she went a few rounds..... Last time she drove the Kia, got a new car after that episode.

| I'm surprised that a low-speed collision would do so much damage. I'm glad they're okay. | |

Now driving to the yard on a milk crate!!.. I was going to play with the rear seat to see if I could work the split into the wagon rear. But I hate to destroy them, they are your Pat. LMK what they are worth. Tim

Tim If he wants a Japanese econobox, Honda would be a better pick than a Toyota. Subaru's are good too. Dead reliable too.

| My daughter gets about 27 mpg around town with her Legacy with 180k on the clock. The drives VERY conservatively, someone in the house has to!!! | |
