| If anyone comes across one of these in your salvage yard searches will you let me know? They put these in many Olds models in the late 80's -mid 90's. I can get an adaptor plug on Ebay for it to work in my Cutlass. It's got a Pioneer in there now that just looks like hell. Thanks in advance!! -Mike Want this GONE | |

| My Mom had one in her 93 Cutlass convertible. Some folks on the G-body site have installed them in their cars and it looks factory.
Please keep your eyes peeled!
Thanks! | |

| Those things are hard to find. They were optional in the 91/2 Cruisers. Managed to get my paws on one a bit ago.
Nice when they work but suffer from typical mid-90's GM electronics quality issues.

| Like DBeaSSt said, those are tough to find Mike, and don't usually work when you do. I'm always looking for them myself. | |

| You should be able to get this to work, as well. I have installed these in a 91 Caprice and my 92 RMW. You just have to tweak the mounting. | |

| I feel like that $85 one will be on its way to Mike's house in a matter of days. |

| Note that you can only use that with the in dash AM/FM/Cassette. Not the CD. | |

| That is out of just about every GM vehicle from 95 to the early 2000s. Note that Pontiacs got orange lighting. To get them to work in earlier cars with 1.5 DIN openings, you just re-use the early mounting bracket (with a little trimming) on the later head unit. Wiring plugs in.
Don't buy one that is expensive. You can find them at the U Pull It yards for dirt cheap.
I'll be selling the one I have in my RMW... eventually.

I had this in my Suburbans....actually I had the tape deck and the CD unit sat below it, but it was the same design. I may go that route. Those can still be found locally.

Yes they are mine but they are super rare and they need to be serviced. I had one in my '93 wagon and it worked fine up until I puled it out but it's been sitting in my garage for 5 or 6 years and I would offer no guarantee on it's performance. The other I bought at the salvage yard and know nothing about. I wanted to send them somewhere and have them gone through and put one in my Grand National but it's never happened yet. And now that the GN is gone, honestly, I'll probably never do anything with them except look at them. But they are rare and worth something even in the state they are in. I have an idea on a price but shoot me an offer and we'll see if we could find a way to give one or both of these a new home.
