Hi all, I have a 1991 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. I went to car show and saw a custom wagon and have been hooked ever since. I have started taking out the interior and motor work. I'm going to put airbags on it, and not sure what is the best set-up to use. There are a lot of kits out there and Im not sure were to start. If anyone has any advise, it would help.

Thanks,
Chris

welcome. those cars shows can be expensive afternoons if you aren't careful.

I have rear bags and no springs. I would not recommend it and am going to have them replaced with drop springs to match the front spindles. The car feels like a diving board unless they are fully pumped.

I have a compressor in the back wheel well and the switch on the right can pump or deflate them Unless you do the front as well for shows I wouldn't. The full air ride is for other members to comment on but I don't think its cheap.

Welcome aboard! You will find wagon owning is an addictive habit, which medical science has not found a cure.

Many of us afflicted with this habit aren't interested in a cure. Wink

Thanks for the reply. I hope to have pics of my wagon up soon. I satred taking off the wood grain and griding off all of those
tabs for the trim. I was also wondering about the drop spindles for the front. Is there a better drop spindle for airbags, or are they all
about the same?

Thanks,
Chris

Welcome Chris. I just realized that you are not far from me at all. I'm in Johnston county near smithfield. Good to have more wagon people around here!
