| Hi, My name is Mike and I have a problem.... A local club member decided to sell his wagon. I made the mistake of asking about it. '96 WWW Limited with Maroon CLOTH. 178K miles, been sitting for two years, no ignition key, dead battery and who knows what else. Drove two hours to look at the car, a little scale but far from a rust bucket. Made a deal, had it towed home. Stopped by my local dealer today, got a key made (they're "down" to $25 now!!) and stole a battery from another wagon. Dumped a bottle of 'dry gas' in it and five gallons of fresh fuel from the mower can (fortunately the car was on E) and turned the key. Turned over several times, coughed a bit and died. Waited, tried again, fired ran rough, died. Black smoke from the tail pipes. Waited, tried third time, fired up and ran! I LOVE THESE CARS! Had a nice little pink fountain from the front bumper where a previous botched tow job had punctured the trans cooler. Drove it into the garage quickly to begin some work. Big pics, click at own risk. Messy messy messy! https://2img.net/h/i159.photobucket.com/albums/t136/dbeasst/96WWWLtd/roady1.jpgOil change and replaced cooler with a spare I just happened to have. https://2img.net/h/i159.photobucket.com/albums/t136/dbeasst/96WWWLtd/roady6.jpgBacked the car out of the garage, now running nicely, no lights on the dash. Aired up the tires, added a can of refrigerant. Simple Green and a scrubby brush in the engine compartment. https://2img.net/h/i159.photobucket.com/albums/t136/dbeasst/96WWWLtd/roady7.jpgWashed off two years of dirt and dust. https://2img.net/h/i159.photobucket.com/albums/t136/dbeasst/96WWWLtd/roady9.jpgDrove it down the driveway, brakes a little sticky but work well. Nice car! | |

| This one is not a keeper, for me anyway. Nice car though, I think it'll clean up very well. The interior is in really good shape too. I'm going to sell it, hopefully. | |

I asked the seller about that. He seemed quite shocked that those weren't the 'right' wheels. So, must have been the original owner. Got the THREE LAYERS of floor mats out of it yesterday. Man there is some nice carpet under there!

Yeah Mike, you can see the wheel swap on the Word Doc you sent me...(the pics from where your friend bought it from the original owner) The 96 had a For Sale sign in every window, and in the background you can see the 94 WWW sitting in the driveway with the 96's wheels on it. LOL! I guess original owner got that 94 wagon and swapped the wheels because he liked them better or something. Sneaky. So that wagon has been sporting wrong wheels on it for about 8 years. Chris

| Mike,I confess,I had to google it as I had no idea what it was An unknown food critic once said a frozen custard stand is 'where God gets His ice cream'. For thousands of frozen custard fans, this is probably not an exaggeration. | |

| Funny! Pat didn't know what it is either. In essence, take ice cream and use cream instead of milk. Gives it a much richer texture and flavor. Unfortunately it also gives it much more fat. But sure tastes good! - lornejay1 wrote:
