He was driving a mini-van..... thats right a Chrysler mini van. I almost made him park at the neighbors.

Serious question Tim. You mentioned they were "too loud". Are they not good for DD status? I guess what i'm asking, is if I don't have a hot rod should I use them

I would get on the Dynomax web site and judge for myself. I would not consider them to loud but others might.

I am interested,what is the issue with these as far as noise level?

Are they too loud for Sundays pulling into Church,or is it the dreaded drone that makes them unbearable?

I have the rear resonators,will that help ?

They will be for the caprice,and that wagon is for long hauls like Detroit this summer,opinions are welcome,

I personally would not hesitate to put them on my car, particularly with resonators. But that said sound is subjective and a very personal choice.

Remove the period from the end of the link and it will work.

Judging from the sound clips provided by Dynomax they are quieter than my Thrush Welded mufflers. I get plenty of compliments on my wagon's exhaust, it is dumped at the rear, headers and no cats though, and it is pretty loud but not obnoxious. Drone however is VERY noticeable.

If only these were 2 1/2 inch.
