| Well wagon number 9 came home with me today. I think I might have a problem..... Introducing: That guy with the 2010 Camaro would kill for this look, lol. Stock under here. Brass post in a 94 too...must be late in the year (haven't checked yet) Kinda was hoping the battery was newer (3 years old - maybe a year left) Uniroyal Tiger Paws.....a big selling point as Dusty needs some new shoes. Northern Guys drool at thus nice clean quarter! D pillar needing some love | |

| Wow, I've seen some faded wagons, but that one takes the cake! You should call it the driftwoody. How'd it drive? Those tires look good, I've got the same ones on my OCC, they're really good tires. Was this an Atlantic coast car? Weird it's got a rust hole in the roof, but the underside is good right?

| My Caprice preceded your car out of the factory by a month, and it had the zinc post. All nice and melty too. Maybe the original owner had it replaced? | |

| Dang... lots of good parts thou. You'll like those Tiger Paws we have them on our hearse and lead car. A good tire, nice wet traction and very quiet. Good in the snow too (not that it matters for you ) | |

| Hmm Driftwoody is kinda catchy, but I did have that special name plate all photoshopped up lol
It drives out real nice but the AC needs a charge. I only had it on city streets as I drove it home with no plate so I only got it sideways once just make sure the posi was working.
Plans range from
1. Drive as is
2. Making the world's first LT1 OCC, but I'd have to swap the whole body over.
3. CUt the roof off, weld up the windshielf frame and put a thatch roof on it and name it the Beachmaster
4. Drop 10K on a 55 CHevy glass body that will bolt right on (if only they had a Nomad).
5 Paint it Satin Pink for my daughter.

| You got most of your money's worth just from the tires. So, whats it like to have so many wagons you can't see your house? | |

| If it was me I would slap some fiberglass on the hole and put it on the road for a couple months. By then you'll figure out what to do.

| That's a project right there. It is odd the underside is as clean as it is. Know any history on it?

-Mike You been on vacation man? My '94 Dusty has been in Round Rock for three weeks now, seen it around? History is the 85 yo Lady I bought it from and her husband bought it in 1995 with 3K on it. Been in the same county for its' whole life. He flew large RC planes and hated pickups. I don't think it'll be in my possession for too long.

I don't think it'll be in my possession for too long. Nope have not seen it around, but if it's here, hope it's not melting. Day 30 of 100+ degree heat today. It's insane how hot it is and it just will not quit! Last year we had 26 days of above 100-degrees the entire year. It's not even August yet and we've already blown every record out of the books. As for me, I've been swamped at work and at home the past few weeks, so could not visit much. Just now getting back to normal again, and trying to see what I've missed on here. Take care! -Mike

| Well I went and looked at the Firebird........
It was actually pretty easy to walk away from, although it's a WS6 too. The 'good' tires had rotten sidewalls (but good tread), front fender dented (easy fix), hood had some dents in it (easy fix), tailgate hatch rusting (easy replace), spoiler was falling apart, dash board cracked, seats needed new skins,
But here was the show stopper......both A pillars were rotten. cancer with dime sized holes.
84K on it, dunno how long it's been sitting, but a good while from the looks of it. TBI engine, not TPI.
Guy said the rear seal blew out while on I-95, didn't notice anything until the oil light went on, started to make way for the next exit and the motor seized.....
I told him I didn't want to insult him and his best bet would be to part it out for the WS6 parts. If the body were straight and rust free, I probably would have gotten it.....the kicker was it was one block from my house. I rode my skateboard over there, lol.

What's with all the rusted through holes in roofs and a-pillars down there? I thought salt air from the ocean, but I live on the shore of the same ocean you do and we have winters and road salt and I still have never seen that on anything but really old vehicles (my '80 Scout's a-pillars are a friggin mess).
