| The wreaked 1995 (My eyes are still sore from crying) is sitting in the tow yard, they'll buy it for parts it has the: Ruby Red AM5 SEAT,FRONT SPLIT,3-PASSENGER,6-WAY ADJUSTER,2-WAY LUMBAR,4-WAY POWER HEADREST ADJUSTER,WITH STORAGE ARMREST FRT SPLIT ST ADJ(AM5)
The new one (1996) has the same Ruby Red interior power seats: AM6 SEAT,FRONT SPLIT,3 PASSENGER WITH CENTER ARMREST FRT SPLIT ST(AM6)
not the Lumbar. here are pictures of the seats.
Also it was between a 1996 Roadmaster Estate Wagon and a 1993. had to to with the LTI For $1500 more am I nuts?

Seats will swap, but you may have to swap the wiring harness too. Sell your old seats to offset your costs. Grab the front door panels while you are at it.

nickI thought this was a wagon forum, not Rants and Raves. My sex life is none of your business Nick. The question was to go with a 1996 because of the LTI small block engine and the different changes they made to the wagons from 1993 to 1996. For the extra money I'm choosing the 1996 version. The question am I nuts was in reference to the difference in the cars. (Like is it worth the extra $1500 if both are in really nice shape?) DUH...... Nick? Thanks for the info on the wire harness, I called my mechanic and he (SMART) said rather then leave it (the wrecked car) at the impound and A. Turn title over to them for the tow from the accident, or B. Sell it to a scrapper for $450, to C. tow it to his place and we can swap the seats. The tires and wheels on the old one are perfect plus think it has many new parts. Better then $450. If I could up load the pictures you'd see the difference in the seats. Thanks to the poster again about the wire harness. I get its a full moon, but could you ease off a bit, just in the smash up Monday...okay....saw my beautiful wagon crumble before my eyes

| You should part it out. You could make a good piece of change. Far more than the $450. The engine is worth about $400 alone. Trans $150, interior parts, glass, rear, etc. | |

I thought this was a wagon forum, not Rants and Raves. My sex life is none of your business Nick. don't kid yourself no-one mentioned your sex life,. when you join a forum (any forum) it,s customary to introduce your self first tell us a litle about yourself where you from etc,. and then ask a question,. looks like you already have the answers any way,. - honeybunnyii wrote:

Nick? you already crashed a 95, so you are familiar with lt1's etc,.so why ask the question? especially a question where you're acting like a newbie,. but quoting option numbers etc,. meh,. who knows if you're legit,.honey bunny 2?? post some pics,. tell us about yourself,. don't just post some illiterate misspelled question about some seats,.for your first post,. who knows who or what you are. - honeybunnyii wrote:

| Yes, the old car has a ruby red interior, it's a 1995. I will be parting it out. The interior is BEAUTIFUL! The previous owner was 86, I think he was the only one in the car!
Sorry Nick, at times my grammar and spelling are not what they should be, I'm not illiteate, (that is how you spelled it BTW, LOL) just a bit dyslexic. I'll introduce my self, good suggestion.
The reason I asked about 1993 vs 1996, I'm finding even though I "think" I know something, I'm sure, that maybe...I don't. Maybe I'm (gasp) WRONG! I was really asking for some confirmation.
Thanks for the kind remark about losing the car Nick....I'm pretty bummed.

| I don't notice any spelling mistakes in my post,. but anyway,. as for confirmations, we're short on preachers here 'cept maybe that gun toting, wagon driving bible thumping timmy swink,. and his two altar boys joel 'n mikey,God bless 'em So we'll give you plenty of differing opinions,. pay no attention to anyone elses's 'cept maybe mine,. then you do your own confirming,. welcome aboard ma'am. | Sorry to hear about your car, Honeybunny. I would be crushed if anything happened to mine. The LT1 was the right call (since you had a choice). I have one in my wagon and love it. | |
