| I can't help but to wonder why you're not using a stencil.
Hey Jarrod, why aren't you using a stencil?

Hey Jarrod, why aren't you using a stencil? I wanted to see if I could even make it look like a tiger. So if I can do it without a stencil than a stencil will be easier. Testing my skills.

| Jarrod/John is using a stencil how you normally draw faces or is it up to the individual artist? Stencil or no stencil your work looks good to me,but what do I know? Jim |

| I was taught using stencils, so that's what I'm the most comfortable with. I like that it lets me get the design exactly how I want it before hand and the lines are crisper. Sometimes it looks better that way, and other times it may not. Like Jarrod said, it depends on the artist - and then for those guys who are comfortable with both - it may also depend on the piece.
Keep at it dude - and for the love of all things artsy PLEASE keep posting pix, your skills are getting better by the day - that's for dang sure!

| Thanks Bewber, and I will post everytime I do something. My next attempt is going to be human eye's. Maybe the end of the week for those. | |

| I have some time off this week and I really need to start practicing again since I'd like to paint a few Christmas gifts this year. We should try to paint the same eyes - like from google images or something - just to see how differently they'd come out.
Not a race or anything like that - and certainly not a competition. Just purely for the fun of seeing how differently they'd turn out.
Maybe not necessarily eyes either. I could try a tiger. Whatever. It was just a thought.
