Hi, Im from finland and I have always loved american cars.
And now I have my own, actually I've had it four years but now I found this forum.
I have 1992 Chevy Caprice Wagon with 350tbi, and few days ago I saw sedan first time live, and now
I want one of those too.
There's only a few of these cars in Finland.
I have a few ideas what to do with the interior, but there's only two cars (that I know) in the junkyard
here, so it's hard to find used parts, and I don't want to mess the originals.

Welcome aboard.

The pictures do not work. The forum needs the .jpg address. You are just using the link to the Picasa page.

Love the hubcaps! I find it interesting that you have the American spec tail lights. Are your headlights made of glass or plastic?

Welcome to the forums. Smile

Hey.

Nice ride, that almost looks like frost on the back windows and roof, cool effect. Rolling Eyes

Surprised to see a Caprice wagon let alone a car there, I thought you guys all drove reindeer. Smile
If you see Santa Claus around put in a good word for me.

Welcome to the fourm...

Nice car, I like the rear window too. What type of wagon is that in the back, I don't recognize that roofline.

Welcome aboard. I'm Finnish on my mother's side. My first cousin is fluent and even lived there for most of the 90's as a diesel mechanic.

If there's anything you ever need for your car, I'm willing to help locate it and ship it to you at whatever the actual costs are.

Being that half of Finland is north of the arctic circle, chances are it's the real thing.

First of all thanks for all warm welcoms.
and sorry it took so long for me to answer.

Okay I have to learn how to post pics, that was actually first time I ever tried that.

Thank you Stingroo for those pics.
Headlights feel like plastic, but I'm not sure. What does it tell me if they are plastic or glass?
I have american tail lights because she wasn't imported by the official importer.
She was imported by some flower and funeral service. Legend tells that she was only a flowercar but I don't know if I believe that (anyway I haven't found any holes for those rails)
But I don't actually even care. Not seen any ghost yet.

To be continued...

To you and lakeffect I can tell it's a real thing Smile

Yeah well, these gas prices it would be clever to "drive" reindeer.
It's now about 1.60€/liter you probably use dollars/gallons, if I had it right it's 7.69USD/gallon (is it expensive?)

Yeah, I saw Santa few weeks before Christmas, and I told him that all here at the forum have been very nice, so I hope you all got your presents.

It's 1989 mazda 626 wagon, my fathers everyday car, he also has 1962 Dodge Lancer Wagon (almost ready for museumregister) and future projects 1962 Dodge Lancer Sedan and 1963 Datsun Bluebird.
My brother has 1963 Chevy Impala 4d waiting for him to have time to fix it up.
