| After just about two years of getting the shaft on my first cluster, not having time to do it, etc. I finally got my 9C1 cluster installed. A friend of mine on Badass has installed 3 of them, drove to his house and got it done in about 45 minutes. All I have left to do is run the wire for the tach and install the oil pressure sensor. Cluster looks awesome at night and the speedo is off by only 1 MPH and I have a feeling thats only because my rear tires are 235/75. Once I get the right size on the back I think that will make it read dead on accurate. I think this may be my favorite mod. | |

| Looks awesome! That's why I bought those 9C1 clusters from the JY; if I have a TBI Caprice I want to do this. (oh I forgot the dash bezel and had to go back, lol) now, put your gate and wiper switches in place they can actually be reached and put this there: | |

| Looks good Justin. What's the gage way to the right, that looks like it is pegged? Who installed it for you?

tom Oil pressure. Have to install the sensor in the pan, thats why its fully pegged, no resistance . Ironfistdog on Badass installed it.

| Newfound confidence in what? Having someone else mod your dash?
It's a great mod, and it came out very nice - but this is hardly a "If I can do it, then you can too" writeup.
Congrats Justin. You're gonna dig it.

| Justin there are 2 sensors there and they appear identical. One is for cars with a factory gauge and the other is for cars with a light.Bought mine from GM online parts because I couldnt find it anywhere else.I have since seen the same number for about 40 bucks.I do know that thats the correct number according to my 91 OCC service manual that I need to get back. |

| I can state with confidence that a 305 TBI will run over 100 miles... just not uphill. | |

Oh, and when I finish my front end repairs. Got a bit shaky at 92 I hear ya! I don't go fast often but I did around 100 in my OCC late last summer just before I took it off the road. It was pretty bad. Steering was just a vague suggestion. One of the reasons I took it off the road was to avoid the winter that never happened, but also because the front end was so shot I didn't think it was safe to drive! Of course, you can actually tell how fast you're going over 100 now!

Of course, you can actually tell how fast you're going over 100 now! Poor steering is all relative. I use to think the steering in my Caprice was total garbage until I got my fleetwood. Now the Caprice feels like it had rack and pinion steering!
