| Hello everyone, This is Shawn from Lawrenceburg, KY. I finally decided to post my hello after I already posted in another section asking for some help. I've got a 1993 RMW white with the wood, and tan leather interior. Her name is Ms. Roadie. She's got 133K miles on her now. I picked her up in December 2011, from a guy who'd been posting her on Louisville's craigslist. He'd been trying to sell his dad's wagon since the summer. He finally came down to $2,000.00 USD and I decided to take a look at her. When I laid eyes on her I fell in love. I've always like the curves these big wagons have and what kinda guy doesn't love a big-n-sexy back end HOO? I took her for a spin and new she was going to be mine. Took a while getting the paper work in order to transfer her into my name; guys dad lived in Arizona and Kentucky requires a notary for everything. But I was patient. She's my Daily Driver. I work in Lexington which is a nice 30 mile commute and let me just say she makes the drive so enjoyable. Since I got her I've replaced the tires; flushed the transmission fluid (I know I know should have just done the regular drop the pan and replace the filter job, but hey live and learn right?). Replaced the high pressure power steering hose; oil cooler adapter O-ring (freak'n tire discounters overfilled my oil by over a quart, last time I let anybody change her fluids.); Replaced both rear window sliders with newer style rollers (there's no room for my big hands in them little bitty door holes. First side took me hours, second side took 30 minutes). I just started replacing her Plugs, Plug wires, Distributor cap and rotor, and finally her intake manifold gaskets this past week. She had some oil seeping up from the driver side rear manifold bolts. When I got the intake off I was a little disgusted with the shoddy work when it was changed before I got her. None and I mean none of the bolts were cleaned. The bolts didn't have any thread locker/sealer either hence the oil leak. Cleaned the intake, bolts, and brackets up real nice. I just got the intake back on a few minutes ago. Tomorrow I hope to finish connecting all the other odds and ends. I plan on flushing the cooling system while she's down for this TLC maintenance I'm doing. Man when I drained the coolant from the engine block, for the intake job, I got a nice little suprise. Has anybody else ever removed the knock sensor and not had fluid gush out on them?? I was like hey why aint there no fluid drenching me right now! SO I crawl my big 6'4" fat butt out from under her, grab a flash light, crawl back under her and what do I see? A bunch of black sediment clogging up the whole. Hence the coolant flush that's going to happen hopefully tomorrow. After that I plan to finish her off with some seafoam through the upper and lower part of the motor. Hell I better not forget about the fuel tank too. Oh and the fuel filter I bought guess that needs to go on her sometime soon too. I wish I could find out more about her but the RPO sticker is completely faded and I can hardly make out any of them codes. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have the tow package and no posi but she's got plenty of power for my commute. Anybody know how I can get replacement stickers for not so much money? Also I'm working towards getting one of them LT1 wagons, hopefully next year if not sooner. Well guess that's all for now. At least my wife hasn't left me over Ms. Roadie yet. I'm only joking she likes Ms. Roadie too, just not quite like me. Oh and I hope to get some pictures posted of her tomorrow. forgot to take some today when the sun was up. Bye for now | |

| Welcome, and since you're new - here's a couple white/woody lingo tips:
that color combo you have is referred to as "peanut butter sandwich".
If it had red guts, it'd be a "peanut butter and jelly" car.
If it had blue guts, it'd be called "ugly". | |

| Thanks all for the welcoming comments. Hey bewber do you think my yellow airfreshner could make my "peanut butter sandwich" into a "peanut butter and bananna sandwich" ? | |
