| Since I started really looking the lowest I've found was 120 with free S&H.I have SS upper and lower control arms coming with pro forged upper ball joints, moog lowers and the stiffer grade of CA bushings already installed. Also have SS brake lines and a rear axle bearing kit with new 3.73 speed o motive gears and reluctor ring. While I have the front end apart,I might as well do the steering arm and u joints too! |

| Well...I'm taking Jade on a little trip this weekend to visit the family. I will stay with my buddy in Louisville and take advantage of his lift while I'm there. Gonna finally install the new steering box! Once that is complete, everything on the front end and suspension (except for the upper control arms and spindles) will have been completely replaced with new parts.
Then it's time to focus on the rollpan installation.....oh, and my new valve covers too!

The steering box has about 230K on it. You don't want this one, it's sloppy....just worn out from a lot of love. I drove the wagon to work today (first time I've driven it since I bought the Caddy) Uh, I think the Caddy spoiled me. Jade is much faster, louder and rides a lot firmer.....which is nice.....but it's good to know I have my old man option avaliable now.

I have had my Caddy for 8 months and it hasn't been out of the garage until today, and that's just to put the RMW in the garage. I love the wagons, the wagon culture and guys, but for some reason the "love" for the Caddy isn't there, atleast not yet. I'm trying to work through this problem. I think I'll write to Dear Abby. | Well give it time! I love the wagons..and if I only had a Fleetwood...I would not be happy. (why I sold the first one I had to buy the AGW back in the day) Now I have both . They are built like tanks, and you can tell they were the top of the line (even compared to my Limited RMW) Take it on a little trip Tom, it will change your mind perhaps?

| No, I wish the guy could have fired up that monster....but I'm sure he would melt some nearby cars. Ha! __ Going to re attach the fly away panels (try to save the scuffed up one) and hopefully make it to a cruise in tonight up the road. I also need to work on the Caddy.... | |

| Who else is wrenching today? I just installed my new radiator, am rebuilding my cooler lines (replacing the rubber and using double hose clamps), finishing the transmission install, new exhaust manifold gaskets, new coolant hoses & restrictor/tee, electric fan conversion, driveshaft and exhaust. Hopefully it'll roll out of the garage under its own power tonight. | |

| I just went through your entire build, and I just want to say how impressed I am with what you have done. The color choices you made are really cool and very unique. The red interior with the green outside reminds me of 1960's era cars when you could get color combinations like that. And I really like the wood grain color you chose as well. But the killer is the wheels. I was liking your car prior to the wheels, but loving it after you put those on. Congratulations on a very first rate build. Keep up the good work! | |

| Nice dude. That 68 was insane! Looks like Mike is doing pretty well for himself, too! And yeah, I'm out wrenching today too. Spent the morning in a 90+ degree boneyard pulling the dash and heater box out of a 318i for my bimmer. And this afternoon I'll be taking the rest of mine out and at least starting the install of my new/used one... | |

Hey, thank you! Sorry I didn't respond sooner...missed it for some reason. You gotta give Jarrod a big thanks for those wheels. It was his idea (and talent) that painted the centers! I still have a ways to go, but I really enjoy this wagon! I took a lot of cr@p from some folks about my interior choice, but no one (and I mean this) no one EVER says anything about it in person. They think it's stock. It does work well in person! (just not on paper) hahaa Going to AutoFair this weekend, I have some billet valve covers I want to put on....might pull a late night tonight and slap them on. I will take some pics! Chris

| Tom, any more news on the Fleetwood? Are you driving it yet? Paula and I are going to Florida next week, and I can't wait to fire up our 93 Fleetwood, and drive it for the 10 days we are there. I can't figure out how you don't have the "love" for the Caddy like you do for the wagon. It is just such an awesome ride. | |

Hi Mark I have the "love" for the Caddy; it just took a while to acquire it. In fact I really enjoy driving it now

| Thanks guys! Looking forward to meeting you this weekend Jeff! Flasheroo, my love of wagons comes from my Dad. We grew up with them! Now, I did give him the LT1 Wagon fever though Ok, so I finally have some new valve covers on! Bought this set on e-bay and am very pleased. http://www.ebay.com/itm/141058686721?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649I'll need to keep working on the engine bay over time and start getting more polished pieces I guess. I really would like a radiator fan/shroud cover! And some fuel rail covers too...humm... | |
