I just want to thank our man Pat "Buickestate" for taking such good care of my little weenie car while it was in his care.

He treated it better than I ever have had the opportunity to, and it's looking fantastic. He removed the chipped up pinstriping and the unsightly beltline molding trim. I'm just going to go ahead and say it right here and now. He's turned my car into the Egg McMuffin of Cadaverlier wagons.

You did. I'm just not ready to use them yet. Like Ray, I too will have a wagon transformation weekend at some point, and that's when those will come into use.

Negatory. This one is going to be left alone mechanically. I have plenty of other headaches to dink around with mechanically.

I know. I already have that Z24 hood. As soon as I can spring for Z24 paint, it'll quit Z24 crying.

Doesn't a Z24 hood go on a Z24?

Where did you get those wheels? I am rolling on my stock 13in rims....once these tires wear out, I need to upgrade.

Those are stock Z24 wheels I scored off of craigslist. I needed tires on my stock rims, but had those 16" tires in the attic - and it was cheaper to by those wheels to fit the tires I already had than to buy new tires.

Seriously Pete? THAT would be wicked fun. We have V8's laying around. What trans do we need?

Maybe later. I really only like to juggle 3-5 unfinished projects at any given time.

A Supercharged 3800 also works well in Cavaliers. Fits in the stock engine bay with less modding, and weighes less. Was a very popular swap when I was into X-cars. The SC-powered Citations were hilarious and FAST.

Here's a Cavalier with the 3800SC swap. Just BARELY fits under the hood.
