| VIN says it's a 92. I'm thinking vin change, or an EARLY 92 | |

| I can't get to epay from work to check the rest but certainly looks like a 91 to me. - Chakotay wrote:

Since like Robert pointed out VIN says '92 and I saw the "7" for the 350 Olds Cruiser Differences: 91 - Grille ornament, Silver Center cap Olds logo, Black C Pillars are "Roadmaster Style" L03 (5.0L) engine only (all 91's were this way) Paint color, gold with brown lower trim. (this option went away in 92) 92 - Grille ornament, Red Center cap Olds logo, Red C Pillars are "Caprice Style" L05 (5.7L) engine optional (same as Caprice) Okay, here's one. I know for a fact that there was available black paint in 92. However, I don't know if it was available in 91 as well. Also, the sales brochures do not show black as available... interesting.

| I'm also thinking VIN swap, it has the 91 rear quater glass, and the 5.7 decal is absent form it's air intake box. the 91 custom cruisers shared it's rear quater glass with the Roadmaster, with the wide "C" pillars where as the 92 custom cruiser shared it's rear quater glass with the Caprice giving the illusion of a thin "C" pillar the 5.7 decal that is missing on the custom cruiser in this ebay listing is this Now I'm just learning about these cruisers, but I've been told that there are several other differances between the 91 and 92 cruisers such as how the lower body cladding is attatched to the body and the third seat being cloth in the 91's and vinyl in the 92's when ordered with cloth interiors. we do have a resident expert who should pipe up on this shortly....Mike where are you? | |

| Thanks for the pics Pat. Those 5.7 stickers have been known to fade badly or even come off. Only the Olds had the cloth third seat (but in both years) and that was for cloth interior cars. Leather cars got the vinyl third seat just like the other wagons. Yes, I believe the cladding does attach differently between 91 and 92. I don't have any pictures though to show the differences, sorry. | |

| And that is the first time I've actually seen a picture of the Oldsmobile badge there. It's in the 91 service manual but I've never actually seen one there. Kinda like the power vent windows. | |

| Mike yes I see the olds script on the hood, not sure if I like it...
Chakotay that's not wood grain on the lower cladding, it's the reflection of the double yellow lines on the road

They didn't come with blacked out pilars and "Oldsmobile" badges on the hood either...... Nope, you guys have told me so and I'm just learning It also looks like the Olds emblem in the grille is gold Just saying that it looks as if there's wood on the lower cladding since it's so uniformly spread out and even reaches the front bumper. But what do I know I'm just a newbie Anyways I thought it was a nice pic of the OCC

I agree with Pat. That is the double yellow line reflection. Those that have their 91 OCC owners manual, look at the cover. Larry's new to him 91 OCC owners manual has the B pillars blacked out on the cover picture. Edit: Note this pic, it is probably the same car as above as it has the badge on the hood and B pillars blacked out. Note no wood on the cladding. I do not know if this is the same picture on the 91 OCC owner's manual.

I agree with Pat. That is the double yellow line reflection. Fine you're the experts in this field, I give up! It's the reflection of the double lines.

| as for '92 Cloth interiors, the one I was ripping on in the junkyard had blue cloth and a vinyl blue 3rd seat. It was built May '92 (late production). shoulda grabbed the VIN for posterity but didn't.... that ebay car I"d bet is a 91. Asked seller for pic of SPID and Driver door stickers VIN number would place it mid year production wise.... ewww zero feedback too. buyer BEWARE | |
