New monthly meet at The Top Notch, Austin Tx, first Sat of the month

OK, it is official, we spoke with the owners about our meet. We are fine to do so, but it won't be an organized, announced, promoted event from them. Because they are required to have a City of Austin permit for "car shows/events" which costs money and lots of red tape getting the permit in person from downtown. They are also only allowed one "car show/event" per month.

However, if we choose to make a regular meet, and show up, eat, and hang out on a Saturday night, that is fine, and they are all for it. They broke their all time record this past Sat in sales and attendance for the Classics show they held, so they are stoked to have more car draws occur.

So I hereby announce the kick off of the first official "Texas Thunder/C.A.R. Top Notch Monthly Meet". It will be held every 1st Saturday of the month, from 6-10PM. We will work on a preferred parking section shortly.

Please put this on your calendars and try to attend. It will only be fun if we can get a decent turnout. The atmosphere is great, great food, and who knows, the cast of Dazed and Confused might just show up, or at least McConaughey in one of his toys.
