| Sell the Ford buy a GMC Savana Conversion Van. 1996-2000 body style is my favorite. Plenty of room all around. Plus all the fluid reservoirs, and dip sticks are where you can reach them.
Hope you get to feeling better. Best of luck finding another wagon.

| Sounds like the cop may be friends with the people that hit you.Keep any and all pics you took and every one that may have been taken by witnesses.Do you have a lawyer yet ?If not it sounds like you are going to need one!

| looks like real hard hit. you got to keep it looks like great parts car now. if you hit someone all the damage would have been pushed in to the car not pushing it to the side i would think | |

| I've been a professional firefighter for 25 years now, including 3 years on an extrication team. We run one of the busiest highways in North America, so I've seen a few crashes. If the only picture of that set that I saw was the tie-rod, I would still know that car took a hit on the side of the leading edge of the front right tire.
I couldn't say if it was running a stop sign or something when it was hit -- there are other contributing factors to the "who's at fault" question -- but it was the hittee, not the hitter.

| Be extremely careful, I know someone who's insurance company settled with an "injured party" without consulting the guy. He even had an iron clad alibi...he was someplace else, and could prove it. The insurance company still settled with the other party. His insurance went up a lot. | |

| I am referring to the police determining that you hit the other guy. My friend's insurance company paid the other guy so that they would not have to go to court. Hey guy claimed that my friend caused his accident, and the stupid insurance company just paid him "damages, and pain and suffering". My friend could prove that he was not even there, but the insurance company did not care. The insurance company just paid the other guy. Watch your insurance company carefully, make sure they do not sell you out. | |

yeeaaaah... 'cause when you hit someone your bumper goes in the direction they... were... going... so... it... looks .... like.... .... wait... your bumper is sticking OUT at a 45 degree angle from the front of the car... which means... ??? I've never seen a car's front end move to the side when that car is at fault. good luck with your claim and thank God everyone is ok. Hang in there buddy. Plano IL is about 2 hour drive for me. If you still want/need someone to go look at that car, lemme know. However, with you in FL you might wanna stay out of the rust belt!! Mark

| Mark, what do you think happens to a car that broadsides another moving vehicle? The only question here is who had the right-of-way. | |
