| Just found the forum, thought I'd pop in and say hi. I've had the car for a few months and I've already put an impala ss grill and wheels on it. I plan on making a bit of a sleeper / hauler out of it. | |

Thanks, I'm also going to do a rear roll pan, strip the wood, fill in the trim mounting studs and paint it all light sandwood metallic (it's current color). Tint the windows, transfer my stereo system from another car. It has the towing package so I'm going to put a class 3 hitch on it. Then I once I get it running perfect, I want to throw a 75 shot of nitrous at it.

| Welcome aboard. Not too many '96 Caprice wagons around (485 or 67x built in 1996, depending on who you believe). Either way they killed them off in favor of the priceier Buicks for 96. It looks nice and clean. If you want it to be a sleeper, leave the wood on it . | |

Well to be honest that's the tv side, the other side the previous owner didn't know how to drive in the snow and managed to dent almost the entire drivers side. I would keep the wood but I'm missing all of the lower moldings and the aforementioned damage would need all new woodgrain.

It was pretty dirty, but no rips or burns that I've been able to find. After an interior detail by a magician it's nearly new inside.

I happen to have TWO of them. One still in the back of my wagon packed to the hilt with parts, and another in a stack of parts in the garage. I did bring it back home with me, which was something I couldn't believe. Nobody even made an offer on it. Pat said if I took it home, to get a hold of him.
