Custom 1/25th Caprice model wagon kit

Some of you know that I recently sold my '95Caprice wagon.
While I had it, I wanted to make a scale model of it to display
in my model car collection.
I found a place called AUTO HAUS that in their catalog had
such a kit, but it is only a partial. You have to add some component
pieces from a stock Revell-Monogram kit to complete it.
Well,--- I bought the custom body kit and a stock Impala SS kit to
make this model, but never got around to it!
Now, since I no longer have the wagon I want to sell the model kits,
brand-new, still in the boxes, unassembled for $65.00 plus shipping.
I even have some left-over DGGM touch-up from my wagon that I
will throw in, if that is a color you would like to have.

Well send me the info, because the Canadian Cheapskate thought that shipping came free!
He insulted me, trying to counter with a bargain offer, and felt that I should include the shipping!
I just went thru a hassle, selling some Bilstein shocks to a Canadian --- and it was not worth the
hassle!

Yes, it is SOOOOO tough to fill out a value on the little green US customs tag. Must have taken at least five seconds of your precious time. Sorry you don't take paypal, too. Perhaps you can start up a carrier pigeon payment service.

Just FYI for everyone: modelhaus has this kit for $40, and the SS kit sells on ebay for under $20. Happy shopping.

I don't recall any communication with you when I was looking for my console,
so those comments are not worth the ink... AND, I just went back and looked at the blogs on my console quest.
You logo is NOWHERE in all the communications!
Model Haus adds a handling fee AND POSTAGE to their catalog prices.
The price you just posted was from their 2011 catalog, which was changed
in March 2012, but I did not buy the new one because they charge $3.00,
just for the catalog.
The Revell-Monogram kit is no longer made, so good luck finding one.--- and
e-Bay prices also do not include shipping, and sometimes handling, depending
on the seller.

You are digging yourself deeper. NO ONE marks up their parts around here expecting to get shipping back. To do that is laughable.

That was not your fault.
We were both ignorant of the procedures that the Post Office
down here puts you thru, and my bank was no help either.
They had to call someone to find out what to do with a
Canadian money order!
I was not trying to poke at you in any way.

Yes it is. In fact, my local hobby shop has two in stock. Plus.. you think the buyer has to pay what YOU paid for shipping when you bought the items? That's a laugh. Last I checked they should pay what it costs you to ship it to them. I don't think anyone here ever makes up the difference on shipping whenever they sell something. I know I'm happy when I break even!

And what's the big deal shipping to Canada? Done it several times with ebay stuff. Fill out the paperwork and thats it. If there are any fees it'd be the buyers responsibility since they pay shipping and handling.

Also, this is like the 3rd of 4th time you've flown off the handle on someone. You need to relax, you're going nuts because you didn't like a counter offer.

How that price is derived is not up for a haggling discussion when you say
"I'm buying it." Read post #1192!
If you want to haggle, don't tell me you're buying it!
Go to a flea market if you want to haggle.
And if you don't like the offer, don't respond!

The two kits are packed in a priority mail, flat rate box, ready to be shipped.
They are still available--- and the price is still $65.00, plus shipping.

Well I have been properly chastised, and made aware of the current pricing on these items.
So, I made a reduced price offer to Lake Effect and Caddy Daddy 13 for the sum of
$50.00, plus shipping, but neither one of them has returned a message, so I have to
presume that they are no longer interested.
THEREFORE ---I make that same offer to anyone else that would like these two
model kits ----- $50.00 + shipping to your address.

Wrong! It 's hard to send anyone a check when they don't respond to the private messages that are sent to them. Since you sent me one previously, I must assume you know how to send and receive them.

The first asking to send me your address so that I could put a check in the mail and, the second message was an apology for a typo in the first message that made it seem like I was insulting you, of which I had no intention of doing. Since I got absolutely no response from you, I figured you must have taken the first note mistakenly, and did not push the subject
