| I've got a brand new, never installed 2800 stall torque converter for the 4L60/4L60E. I bought it a few years ago and was going to put it in the 9C1 and never got around to it. It is the smaller diameter 10" converter and is the tightest-driving model you can get in that size, so it will have excellent street manners and if you add power, the stall speed will increase. It is comparable to an $550-800 Edge or Vigilante unit, although it was made by a company who got sold. The company owner was a personal friend and I would not hesitate to put this in any car. It is a lockup converter so no problems there. I paid right around $600 for it, sacrifice for $400 + shipping from Syracuse, NY. | |
