| There's a thread on garage journal forums for "cars that customers bring in the shop". Lots of these types are posted on there (along with assorted mechanical nightmares). | |

| Reminds me of a good friends car - although I think he finally has started to keep at least the passenger seat clean for the girlfriend... | |

| Well, now. Suddenly my truck looks clean. That was, as they say, easy. I should get pictures! I still have most of what I took to Missouri riding around in the extended cab part. Of course, having an extended cab is a must. It's a given that I have lots of crap riding around in the cab, and I know where I get this from. My dad has turned every car he's ever had in a rolling garbage storage bin. If any of my brothers want to go with me, I usually have to make them wait outside until I've shoveled everything off of the passenger's side seat and into the extended cab area. They moan and groan about this, yet one of them is just as guilty as I. (Said brother presently has a pair of GM 6.5 diesel engine cylinder heads in his car. They announce their presence every time he goes over a bump.) I also have this bad habit of "shopping at Curbside Discount". Most of that stuff ends up in the bed and when I've got a good pile going back there (or rather, when I can't get something I need to put back there into place), I start thinking about how much it would probably improve the fuel economy (!!!) to clear that part out. Right now I've got nearly the entire interior from a Caprice sedan back there. My wagon, being as it is both of a nice car and not a daily driver, is spared dealing with crap. The most it has ever had in it were ten Athlon XP PCs cast off from work. I finally hauled them all down to the basement. | |

| It bothers me if there is a balled-up gum wrapper hidden away in the ashtray. Nothing is allowed on the floor. My kids are trained to pull out and shake the floor mats before going into the house. | |
