| Its been over a year since I picked up my airbrush and today I decided to try my hand at this true fire look again. Well this is what i came up with a little while ago. I know I need lots and lots of practice but I know in time I will be able to develop my own style. There is no clear on this yet and I didn't add any white to the top surface either. I know I should but I wanted to show you what I have thus far. | |

| so far it,s a great base,. ad some trails to some of the licks that look similar,.some of the licks have odd endings,. a couple together there just off dead centre,. but you certainly are presenting the idea of the true life flame much better than the first time ,. KEEP PRACTISING,. you have the creativitiy,.
Nick big fan of true fire flames,.

| I knew you'd chim in Nick and that is what I wanted. More practice after hours all this week.
Jim and the thing about picking up the brush is that when I tried it 15 months ago that was my first attempt to actually do something with it. Do you hate me even more now? LOL!
John,...When I get this one the way I like it it will be given away to a good friend of mine.

| Jarrod have you ever seen the helicopter that Mike Lavallee flamed. The owner told a story about when he first landed after having it flamed some guy ran upto the copter with a fire exstinguisher in his hand.Dont know how someone could mistake painted flames for real ones but I guess anything is possible.Oh and if this is only the second time you have airbrushed flames, yes I really want to hate you more, damn showoff! | Me thinks,.............. I will just pick it up when I get down there, and then paint it here at home and then ship it back down. Main reason why is you just don't spray flat black on surface, there is a process and I will do that for you. Longer lasting finish. | |

| Ok here is the other side of the mailbox I worked at today. I decided not to use Kandie red and kept it more on the orange side. Now I know it's to busy but again I am in the beginner phase,...this is clear coated. | |

| Coming along great bro.
1. Watch some youtube videos by artist Ed Hubbs.
2. The real fire rule of thumbs are "Dark then light" color wise - and "Loose to tight" pattern wise.
Haha, That's totally good enough to put mail in!

| Instead of repainting the same ones over and over stick them on ebay - i'm sure these would sell no problem... Just a thought. Might get you enought to cover paint and a new box... | |
