| Looks nice. I doubt I'll ever get the courage up to paint a whole car.
...but please oh please paint the spare tire hump black.
Never seen a white air dam before - hope you don't hit curbs much.

| Thanks, but, I didn't paint it myself . Local Maaco did. And after all the horror stories I had heard, I was skeptical. But they did a great job. Not sure what they were thinking with the white air dam. I plan on painting it back. Ditto for the spare hump, but that'll get a coat of SEM Rust Shield. | |

| Wait, the tire hump is supposed to be black?
Mine was silver like the bottom of my car originally.
Hmmm... |

Hmmm... Ray, I *think* on the solid color cars, ie not two tone like yours the hump was black, but on the two tone cars it was the lower color. I've seen a couple wagons like that.

| Looks good Justin, it has come a long way.
When we have meets, we'll have to have special sections for Marshmallows.

| Thanks guys. Not much left and it'll be "done" Just have to do a rear end swap, and mount the blazer overhead and I've done all I wanted to do. Now i'll just have to enjoy it. - Flasheroo wrote:

Yea I want to know how much too. its sad because I paint cars for a living, but to lazy lol. $657 out the door. I opted for a single stage paint. They were running a special this month so I got a couple hours of body work and a "uv protector" too. These are becoming my winter rims, not even going to repaint them. Just put some hubcaps on em. I'm going to go with something else for summer. - silverfox103 wrote:

| My favorite hubcaps. Make sure those things are secured well - I lost count of how many we lost on my dad's '86. | |

Two stainless zipties attached to each hubcap/wheel. (I also have an entire set as backup )

(I also have an entire set as backup ) That wagon really came around with some new paint. It looks great! I'm tempted to do that zip-tie trick on my own car...does it affect the tire/wheel balancing perceptibly?
